Alert-JP now maintains a persistent WebSocket connection to an upstream earthquake-early-warning feed and pushes 緊急地震速報（警報, EEW warnings） straight to connected SSE/WebSocket clients, without waiting for the regular polling cycle. The published warning content (hypocenter, magnitude, per-area forecast intensity and arrival time) is relayed as-is; per-location shaking and countdown are meant to be computed on the client side. Note: EEW warnings are relayed from a third-party feed on a best-effort basis and are not a substitute for official emergency alerts. Always follow official sources (JMA) and carrier emergency alerts.

We are updating our billing approach. Instead of limiting by request count alone, we now gate features by quality tier: • Free — Core single-request operations and basic data viewing for personal use • Pro — Batch processing, data export (CSV/GeoJSON), webhooks, commercial use, and high-precision data • Enterprise — Team collaboration, advanced analytics, and priority support Existing request-based limits remain as soft limits. Your current plan is automatically mapped to the appropriate quality tier — no action needed. For details, visit your Console → Billing page.

The High-rate tier is now available across all PPN Hub APIs. This plan offers high-volume access at a better per-request rate than the Business tier. Affected APIs include: Alert-JP, Atmos, Hydros, Lithos, Terra, Orbitalio, BioSitia, Carbonias, Planetary Boundary, Artia, Craftia, Festivia, Marketo, FoodSense, BioCoLo, and Nanobase. The legacy Enterprise tier is no longer available for new subscriptions. Existing Enterprise subscribers are unaffected. Free / Starter / Growth / Business plans remain available as before.
